Tyler Fernengel has quickly made a name for himself in the BMX world, with this young talent turning pro at the age of 16 in 2012. Slated as one of BMX's rising talents, Tyler has already amassed an insane bag of tricks and his street style is legendary.
Tyler started riding BMX as a young kid, but back then motocross also competed for his attentions. Tyler competed in the US National AMA Motocross Series until the age of 13 before solely focussing his attentions on BMX.
Since attracting the attention of the US BMX public with web edits as a young teenager, the boy from Michigan’s burgeoning reputation has seen him travel the world for contests and attract major sponsorship deals with the likes of Haro, Vans and Red Bull.
Tyler was raised in Detroit and considers the Motor City as his home but nowadays San Diego is where you’re likely to find him, with the fresh pro keen to continue his BMX education under the tutelage of good friend and mentor Dennis Enarson.
