15 year olds Amy Damante and Cameron Cameron Van Deusen are literally obsessed with cheerleading. They cheer and compete on a team called the Lady Jags in Miami, Florida. Cheerleading is a lot of fun, but it takes a serious amount of hard work and dedication. For these girls, cheer isn’t just a sport, it’s a lifestyle.
This summer, Amy & Cam are headed to Camp Woodward, the ultimate summer camp for action sports, gymnastics and of course, cheerleading. Woodward has some of the best facilities and coaches in the world, and here the girls will practice their skills and learn new ones. But camp is about so much more than training, it’s about making friends, trying new things, creating memories and having way too much fun.

In the first episode of Woodward Cheer Girls, we meet 15 year olds Amy Damante and Cameron Van Deusen. Cam and Amy both cheer for a team called the "Lady Jags" at a cheer gym called Top Gun in Miami, Florida. For these two girls, cheer is not just a sports, it's a lifestyle. This summer, the girls are headed to Woodward Cheer Camp in search of the best summer ever. Follow along each week as Cam and Amy work on their skills, meet new friends and have a ton of fun in the process.
In this episode, Amy and Cameron travel to Camp Woodward in the heart of Amish country, Pennsylvania. Sunday is arrival day at Woodward, where the campers check in and settle into their cabins. After orientation, Woodward staff and visiting athletes take to the gym for a mind melting exhibition of their skills.
It's day one at camp and Amy and Cameron are ready to get down to business in the cheer gym. Coach Jimbo runs them through some drills and the girls work on their layouts and back fulls. Later in Open Gym, Cam sets out to perfect the whip double.
In this episode, Cheer Director Jimbo walks us through the Morning Mandatory routine and explains how Woodward uses specialized training equipment and surfaces to accelerate progression. After breaking up into groups of four, Cam and Amy meet Cheer World Champions Jae Fish and Chase Peak and form The Quad Squad. After dance practice, the girls head over to the Ropes Course.
In this episode, Cam and Amy put aside some time with Cheer Director Jimbo for a private lesson on the rod floor. After they work out some kinks in their tumbling, the girls meet up with Amy's twin sister, Tara, for a photo shoot in the Digital Media Lab. Later, the Quad Squad gets crazy with some tie-dye.
Wednesdays at camp can be tough after two full days of tumbling. Coaches Jimbo and Tara decide to give the girls a break with a "friendly" game of Stick-It. Later in the day, Cam and Amy head to the Wake Lake to learn how to wakeboard. After, a water-logged Amy tries to catch the elusive catfish.
In Episode 7, the girls work on their dance routine for the battle on Friday. The Quad Squad takes on Coach Jimbo on the Go Kart Track before open gym. After, the crew steps up and puts it all on the line in the dance off.
In Episode 8 of Woodward Cheer Girls, Cam & Amy work on technique with Cheer Director, Tara Shipley during morning mandatory. Later on, the girls get theirs on some scooters and the Quad Squad hit up some legendary Woodward skateparks.
